Stephen D. Levitt & Stephen D. Dubner

Freakonomics has two authors, Stephen D. Levitt and Stephen D. Dubner. The book is a collection of economic articles that apply economic theory to diverse subjects not usually covered by "traditional" economists. Levitt was born in 1967 and attended St. Paul Acadamy and Summit School , he then received his B.A. from Harvard University in 1989, his Ph.D. from M.I.T. in 1994, and has taught at Chicago since 1997.
     Levitt's coauthor is Stephen D. Dubner. He was born August 26, 1963,  He is an award-winning author and journalist who lives in New York City. He has taught English at Columbia University, played in a rock band and, as a writer, was first published at the age of 11.
